We've had plums ripening on self seeded trees in the hedges that have never borne fruit before - from small round red ones that look more like giant cherries, to damsons. Plums hybridise so much it's hard to tell what any of them are!
Absolutely huge amount of sloes and rosehips up here this year, surprisingly no damsons in the usual spots though. Also a decent amount of fruit on the 'wild' Apple, Pear and Cherry trees too.
