Introduction - New member

Hello,

When I'm not stuck indoors, I spend a fair bit of time outdoors and I'm hoping to learn and share outdoor ideas and skills on this forum. My weekend hobby is managing a small woodland, the fuel for home is great, but I get just as much satisfaction from being part of nature and away from the nonsense of work for a while. Best moments from this year - new families of sparrowhawks and nuthatches - worst moment - ripping my DD hammock which then split widthways.

I'm really interested to improve my outdoor skills and looking forward to being an active member here.
