Interesting knife

I have just seen this knife on e-bay and thought that it looked interesting (if it isn't it was my sisters idea she made me say that...if it was it was my idea :-D )

It is interesting. I think the German army developed something similar. There was a discussion on BB as th whether or not this design constituted a locking folder and the legal implications of it, as it's inserting the opened blade back into the handle that forms the locking mechanism.

though that these were scandinavian, a barrel knife, or something like that. collectors can pay a lot for them. about 10 years ago or so, someone brought one to be valued on antiques roadshow.
