whole sweetcorn, sweet potato, ooh cherry tomato's are amazing cooked on the bbq!
spring greens, lettice etc cut in half, brush oil on it and just slightly char it, get a really nice taste and texture to it.
big ol steaks!, pork chops, lamp shanks you name it. you can cook anything on the bbq you can cook on a fire, burgers and sausages are boring i agree, this summer i'm doing a bbq myself and i plan on getting nextdoors alder tree (when he cuts it down shortly) to make charcoal with. i'll have to be careful not to melt the bbq...
