Well folks I’ve been having a really good lurk on this form for quite some time and would just like to say its been fantastic. The amount of info on here is truly amazing and as such I’d like to share with you some of the stuff I’ve been inspired to make.

First up spalted beech and purpleheart handled Mora

That's nice mate - the beech pattern is really striking - you've settled a debate I've been having with myself ove what wood to try next that's for sure!

Spalted beech is nice stuff to work with and in comparison to some of the exotic hardwoods is really cheap. I hope you have as much fun playing with it as I did!

This is my next making.

I though i would have a go at making a kuksca. This one is done in steamed pearwood and has stood up to some serious hammer, I let my scouts play with it for a weekend!
