Hugo and i went on an impromptu bimble earlier today, i was supposed to join him yesterday, but events during the stormy night on Tuesday meant i needed to be at home sorting a few things out, so we quickly arranged a day out today, few pics

after this it was over the fields and back to the cars.

Oh yes, we also did an Iron Pyrite search while were out, i collected about 3lbs of the stuff, including one piece that when i weighed it in at home, tipped the scales 1lb 2oz, i'll get a photo of it tomorrow, Hugo collected a good 2-3lb of Pyrite too.

Was a grand day out that ended all too soon, hopefully we can get out and about next week

Cheers people, was a good day out, got a bit chilly late morning when the sea breeze picked up though.

@Hillbill - it was a darn sight better than being in the workshop, only problem is i have to play catch up today to be ready for two events this weekend.

@Dave53 - will grab a pic or two later for you

@Elen - The Early Purple Orchids are not too far off flowering either

@Dougster - thanks mate, you are always to come for a wander round if you find yourself a bit further east.
