Which in Wiltshire, is a Big Event.

I do not know how signs like this;

Work with those

Looking down into the valley; We approached on the Gore Cross road.

And...its very busy here.

A very photogenic church (largley as its not crammed with trees and other buildings...I come from a village where the church is notorious to see).

Most of the buildings are military, for Urban warfare training...the cottages were mostly cob and so would have crumbled when they lost their roofs.

This is The Bell.

It has a datestone

Looks like an old Lime avenue to me. You cannot go off road much. Theres lots of privet hedges so I assume the villages farmed stick insects.

Couldnt stop, had a convoy behind me, Dad took this going out on the Warminister road. For tracks the roads are oddly good...but they are only used a few times a year.

But, by the looks of the mud; some offroad fun.
Imber is open until the 1st, if you are in Wiltshire this week.
