Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
I generally wear mil spec US army woodland pattern trousers and a brit army green Norgie shirt with a black Arkis waterproof SAS smock. On my head I go for a Tiger stripe pattern boonie hat.
I own one piece of DPM, which is a long waisted vest with four large pockets, button front and a flap in the rear hem for stashing gear. I wear it on occassion for hiking in mild weather with the digicam. Own a couple of US issue M65s, but rarely wear them, preferring to wear OD or plaid, even when bow hunting.
When did wool go out of style? Best fall and winter bush clothing I own is wool. I don't mind the smell when wet, won't melt when near a fire, it keeps me warm, is very quiet and I can pick it up reasonably priced used.
