i picked up a lightweight diamond file today (medium coarse) which should work for my GF SFA, parang and nata to carry in my backpack when "out in the field" but it's not very good for knifes and my edc bag... . i found a local supplier who has the fallkniven dc4 for a good price (the suggestions above present me with the problem of shipping costs and payment issues...)- does anyone know if the delamination problem with them still exists?! (it's a bit smaller then what i had in mind but otherwise seems a good option in combination with the file)...

Even if it delaminates, which it shouldn't, some epoxy will quickly rebond it. I'd pay more attention to the ceramic side as some of the newer ones have small ridges on them. Make sure you get a flat one.

I'm guessing it's the agate side which will be for polishing.
