Reading the "Hoarders Corner" :lmao: kit lists made me think if I had to pick just one load of kit for using in the UK what would it actually be and how much would I expect to pay for it?

you'll need to be more specific than that!

are we talking:

neolithic (nothing :rolleyes: )

bushcraft (as basic as you can, takes experience!)

armchair bushcraft (you know the type, all the gear and no idea!

bushcraft/camping (camping but doing bushcraft on the side)

lightweight camping?

Ultralight camping?

Air...? :lmao:

i fit into most of these categories at different times!
so what do you want people to list a good start would be favourite top ten items! ;)

tools pouch(is that cheating?) that contains, notebook, aide memouire, gerber mulit tool, ferrensium rod, sharpener, mini compass and whistle, turbo flame lighter, chain saw blade, and james bond pen!

crusader cup cooking set (58" bottle, cup metal mug, cooker, coke can stove, lid, milbank bag.

aussie tarp (with cords attatched

hennessey asymetrical expedition hammock (no tarp use above)

TNF cat's meiow sleeping bag (-7) (wish the zip was the other side :( )

down underquilthome made

Rucksack with climbing carabina to store it off the ground (keeps rodents out of your food!)

and a good book!(for cold boring nights)
