I just won a hammock! That's the first time I have won anything in the last 15 years or so.... a bottle of plonk in a pub raffle. Now, a DD hammock is much more useful. Actually, this one will go to my son and so I ordered another DD tarp to be delivered at the same time for him. They are great pieces of kit!

The only problem.... the post office wasn't delivering parcels today because of the snow, so I took a walk into town a mile away.... well kitted up and with rucksack... and in heavy snowfall.

The welcome sight of home from my "practice wood", on the way back, and a good 12" of snow.
