Firstly sorry if this is in the wrong section

I have been using the search facility on the forum to check out the DD Travel bivi/hammock but have seen quite a few saying about the condensation issue.

Living in Scotland i need a bivi / hammock that has a midge net. I am fed up of being a travelling buffet for them.

Could i use the DD Frontline hammock as a bivi if the floor is breathable?

If not can anyone recommend an item other than a dedicated bivi i could use for both bivi and hammocking?

Yes you can. You can use a groundsheet if it's muddy to keep your kit clean. Does the Frontline have the 4 corner loops that help to stake it down?

You can make it work but it's not the most comfortable or livable option.

Yep, I did that ground lay setup as something different, Sleeped on my sleeping bag wasn't a bad nights sleep. Didn't peg out corners as no need.
