But the synopsis reminds me of the adventure books my father gave me when I was about 7 or 8. The books were from the 40s or 50s and had similar themes.

Personally, I think you can label it, as you would any of his other works, including flying over Everest,
Fiction, age range 7 to 11 not suitable for impressionable children and gullible adults
