Hypothetical Kit lists to go with kit pledge

As folk may be aware I have recently made a pledge (as visible here) to only use one of two kit lists throughout the entire of 2013 with no changes apart from if I attend a meet or the moot pr take the family camping.
I intend to walk to my permission each time I go camping which will give me an insight into the feel of the weight of these kit lists.

I Also do not plan to share kit with anyone who comes with me apart from a communal group tarp to socialise under and if we are having group meal the cooking equipment.

Drewdunnrespect has also signed up to the idea (only one who has! possibly the only other person as barking as me?)

so the idea of the two kits are
heavy duty winter/long term camp
and lighter weight/summer camp
(please note there may be some cross over items, there may also be occasions where I mix and match items from the two lists should I feel the need to, I might even stray completely should I decide to do a 15 item or less challenge,This is only for some fun and to improve my skill set and familiarity with the kit I pack.)
I own everything on these lists and so do not intend to purchase any kit throughout 2013 unless it is to maintain/repair or replace something on this list, for example replacement saw blades restock first aid kit etcetera etcetera

Referring back to Uncle Rays Essential Bushcraft I have gone with the headings he suggests for what is needed

In the height of either OCD or Kit obsessive listing disorder (KOLD) I will put a W for winter weight and S for summer weight next to the item so you good readers can figure out my intended load out
I do plan to get everything out of stores and have a play packing it all to see if it sensible before I completely confirm the kit items, all kit subject to change etc etc etc

This is not meant to be a minimalist kit list it is what I reckon i will use over the coming 12 months to live comfortably when out in the woods.

Something to carry kit in
Rugged River Wilderness Explorer pack W
Rugged River Roamer pack S
Swedish army gas mask bag W/S to act as ditty bag

Something to sleep under

Something to cook over
(hopefully I will be using a fire for this however to cover eventualities and perhaps speed up the first brew in the morning)
Honey Stove W/S
Meths Burner and Meths W/S
Heximine tablets W/S

Something to cook in-This is causing me a little headache deciding to be honest it might be that these items vary between themselves throughout the yr......so I have not designated them to seasons
Crusader Cup
Crusader mess tin
10cm zebra billy can
Swedish Army Trangia Billy

Something to carry water in-no water up my permission so i like to take plenty in with me. Having said this i do have it in mind to make a gypsy well so we shall see
58 Pat water bottle W/S
Guyot stainless steel water bottle W/S
MSR Dromedary 3 litre W/S
Mill bank bag (not carrying water per se but comes nicely under this heading I feel)

A Mug
Now I know I have a crusader cup but my idea is to use that as a small billy rather than a mug, I also find if i
I have a crusader cup I drink 3/4's of a litre at a time when I have a brew which monsters my water.
Tatonka metal Mug
Swedish army plastic kuska

Something to eat with
Spork W/S
Phoon W/S
KFS W
Plate W/S

FIRST AID KIT and 2 x First Field Dressings
enough said there everytime i go camping

Toilet kit (loo roll, lighter & hand sanitiser in resealable bag)
Monocular or Binoculars
Phone
Phone Charger
Camera
Outdoor survival handbook by Uncle Ray-I intend to use this as a study guide and do many of the various things this book covers but I have memory of a goldfish so want it there as a aide to memory
zippo handwarmer W
reuseable gel handwarmers W

Sharps
Lot of cross over here between seasons to be honest
Joker continental pocket knife W/S
fixed blade pocket knife W/S
Mora Classic W/S
Gransfors Bruk Small Forest Axe W
Gransfors Bruk Outdoor Axe S
Laplander pruning saw S
Folding Bow saw S/W
Saw Blade I might just put one of these in my billy can and make the frame once there dunno yet if I do it replaces the folding bow saw obviously :)
Crook knife if I have specific projects in mind

Food, Clothing and reference books will vary from trip to trip I am not going to list all of those options now
needless to say winter food will be heavier and more stick to ya ribs style affair summer food will be lighter stuff like couscous and jerky

So what do you all think?
I reckon personally at the moment I am quite happy with the above list it has enough for me to be comfortable long or short term, I don't think it is too weighty not that I am gram obsessed, if I get a chance to pull out all the kit over my time off I may take a lot of photos and show it all piled up neatly having checked the kit fits in the packs :)

All comments welcome I may not listen to suggestions but feel free to make them :)
Sam

Hope you dont mind me passing comment but what happened to the predetor pack?
Also you say bowsaw blade in your billy, if its only a 10cm you will struggle to roll it so small.
Whats a phoon? Might just be me here or the magners.
Also the tatonka mug is almost the same size as a 10cm billy.

Looking forward to how you amend your list and get along with it.
I have already done the same with two of my pack winter/spring,summer,autumn.

Always useful seeing others kit lists, one of these days I might keep mine to just what I need :)

Is there a particular reason you're using a tarp in winter but 2 ponchos in summer or is it just personal preference?

Nope don't mind at all :)
Nowt happened to Predator, however i had one a while back so i know its capabilities the two Rugged Rivers haven't really been put through their pace yet.
the bowsaw blade would go in the swedish trangia billy rather than the zebra specifically due to size/fit
phoon is probably the wrong name, its more like the traditional spork you get in salad bowls from shops so a spoon with fork prongs rather than the well known spork that has spoon on one end and fork on the other
i know the tatonka mug is almost same size as zebra but my ocd will not let me get the tatonka sooty, plus i prefer to have a mug i can add the hot water to rather than adding the coffee/tea to hot water in the mug

its all an experiment and i am looking forward to seeing how i get on too
thanks for your comments :)

All i was wondering with the bowsaw blade is how tight it will roll safely.
I know what you mean about sooting the mug up, i dont like it but its happened.
Could you not consider a larger billy for cooking and transporting gear in. Im looking at the 14cm so i can boil water for brew or boiling more water to steralise it if required, this will also double for cooking in.

I have 16cm one at the mo, in it i have a stainless bowl, eagle kettle, kfs, washing up kit, brew kit and the bowl on top stores a couple of other bits.

i may replace the billy with a mors kochanski pot (you can see a picture of it in my birthday bash thread) which is bigger and would allow more storage

i am also currently debating if i remove the poncho's and replace with a DD XL Tarp, more living room, more shelter from sun, similar or better weight

Yes, Yes i did :p

good pot Rich you should of got one :)

I was trying to kid myself at the time that I had enough kit and didn't need one. Sound familiar? ;)

Are they ally or steel btw? I bought a stainless "mucket" off ebay from a reenactors store which was a close copy, I didn't like the hinged lid though. The Mors just looks like it should work well.
