The banks of the Deveron.
They're great, and run on parafin - no good in confined spaces, but superb for getting rid of midges.

I've had mine 12 years!

Cheers Rich, just ordered 2!

I bought a few locally and used them last time i was in scotland canoeing and they were great :)

The build quality is not stunning but for a quid theyre great and the light is much easier on the eye than a tortch.

One tip is not to transport them with fuel in as they spill very easily.

Thats a cracking bargain, I bought two used ones on Ebay for £2.99 (Luckily I was able to collect to save on postage). Excellent bits of kit.
If I didn't already have two I would buy these now.

Silkstone, Blighty!
They are very cheap! I bought one not too long back, brand new for a couple of quid, and thought I'd done really well! I will be taking mine to Delamere to try and keep the midgies at bay, I seem to recall there were a few last time and I don't suppose all this rain will have done much for keeping the numbers down!

Even better at repelling the midges if you run them on 50% Parafin and 50% Citronella oil.

B.T.W. Aldi have citronella oil for £1.99/L on Sunday 8th July.
