Yes - there have been a couple in the past too - Lord Grizzly, it's on you tube. Well one of them is. The book is good in a mountain man kind of way as well - that's free on Google books, or maybe kindle? Free anyway. I see DiCaprio is playing the man himself... The new film is called "the revenant". Out this year...

Theyve added a neccesary revenege subplot, to the original man in the wilderness, which greatly improves it by the look.

Do you reckon that bear fight scene is CGI, or Bart the Bear?

I quite liked him in Blood Diamond, Wolf of Wall Street and of course, What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

You know I've never seen that film. I always thought it was the American title for A Man Called Horse. Which is a brilliant film. Will have to dig a copy of A Man In The Wilderness now.
