With any luck I will be off to Scotland in November.

So, I need a place to stay. its going to be on the Black isle

Which means Inverness is ideal

(But if anyone is willing to put up with me for a couple of nights in that area...)

Never used but out of interest I just went to the site.
I don’t see what’s tricky.

Questions of:
- where are you going
- Find a place to stay
- what date
- how many people are going

Then a list of houses come up.

Select one and reserve it.

Which bit do you need help with?

You might like to be careful of planning, especially if it's going to cost you money. It appears that we're likely to go back into lockdown and no unnecessary travel will be part of that.

The talk is of a 'circuit breaker' lockdown to stop the infections spreading and bring the R number back down. The most suitable time would be the October school holidays and then slowly ease restrictions in the following weeks/months.

The October break is 12th to 23rd, iirc.

I positively think that the more folks stay at home the better this year.

No one's doing well on things like conferences and meet ups. It's just the way it goes sometimes, though I admit that this is my first pandemic.
