just noticed that i've finally passed the 100 post mark. four and a half years after i join and finally i'm a forager, praise the lord and halellujah, my feet were killing me!

oh the irony! finally become a forager by saying that i can't come to a forage!

it's healing nicely thanks, gonna leave a good scar though i think. she's back at work tonight, too soon for my liking, so we shall see what it's like tomorrow after it's had a good dowsing of beer. she works behind a bar by the way, she's not some lush!

You're lucky(ish!) - swmbo cut herself with her knife; I got partial blame because I'd sharpened it (at her request). She bled so much that they had to shut a triage room for cleaning

Her comment, whilst we were waiting to find out if she'd need an op to sort the damage out, was 'All knives are banned from the house!'.
My salvation was the consultant saying that if the knife hadn't been so sharp she'd probably have lost the use of her thumb - infact he could hardly believe that the cut was done by a hand sharpened blade

i think your other half did a little more damage to herself than mine did, she was pretty lucky to be honest, soft tissue damage is all. all i'm really worried about is her getting infection in it at work. she works in a real ale pub and some of the stuff that comes out of the pumps is very much alive, i've had tiny little cuts that i didn't even know about until i'd done a shift behind the bar, stale beer really doesn't do you any good at all.
