How did you choose your bushcraft name

I first got online many centuries ago when few used their real names. (I was advised not to.)

Im Tengu, the Japanese demon who lives in the mountains and who is an antisocial eccentric. (I am not so much of this as I used to be)

I can neither fight nor fly, and my nose is short.

If you googled my real name you would find Im actualy a character in an American detective novel from the 70s...

A friend called me this around the time of Lord of the rings. And it has stuck for most of the sites I go on. My real name combo is always taken so use this instead.

My name is Robert, I tend to lurk and read rather than post so I'm quiet, and I really like the character Silent Bob from the film "Dogma", I use it on all forums I'm a member of.
