When you park up at glentrool go past the gate and follow the wee road/path that runs round to the south of the loch.
Just as the blacktop runs out and becomes a footpath into the wood look to your right. Inbetween you and the house is a fair sized bracken covered mound crowned with trees. Cut off the path and over the back of the mound - on it's east face are two or three old stumps and trunks that are covered in hoof fungus.
