aye there new ones but I think that just for the demo, what I found interesting was the standing them on there ends and filling the gaps. Kind of a modern wattle and daub? If I was forced to build one I would use the blue chep ones ( there solid )

I have a friend who takes a rough old pallet and soda blasts them, whacks on a few castors and sells them as coffee tables for a right old sum!

Like the idea. How about filling them with some form of insulation - sheep fleeces is one off the top of my head ? I like the design too.

I've seen a thread on here before about a guy who built his house out of pallets so that it could be dis-assembled and re-assembled when he wants to improve or move. Great idea!

Not quite same, but our bed is four pallets and t'mother in laws kitchen is mostly pallets along with her conservatory :thumbup:

Those pallets are often made from non furniture quality Teak.

Jesus £230 for that old pallet table, I've been missing out on mega cash if that's what they sell for, got tonnes of them lying about at work

I did that as a student for our house. I didn't bother to do more than give it a quick clean though.
