Where abouts are you in the UK? I’m down towards the south coast below the New Forest.

Im in Northumberland near Morpeth

I have the fabric and also bought some 4mm ply to repair some of the laths that are ‘spongy’ and use for the gunwales. Also bought some natural heading to hold a few of laths in place where they overlap but wandered out of place. Will get it on some trestles in the garden next week and spend some time on it.

Thats the spirit mate. It was lovely to drift on the river early this morning with the birds singing, in a boat made by our own hands. Can't wait to see yours up and running good luck with it be sure to post some pictures.......Cheers

Nice one mate. 30 wands thickness of your thumb 60 weavers for the gunwale and away you go.
