Had some time today so I made this knife, the metal is from an old wood saw circular blade, about 2mm thick, not sure of the hardness but I worked slow with the cutting so it would not overheat so I did not aneal or temper it.
It is razor sharp and about 4" long.
The wood is White Oak and finished with Linseed oil.
The sheath is much to be desired and to be honest I have no leather of gut so I used a bit of scrap stuff, however I like the rustic look
Will give it a try tomorrow but it does good feather sticks so far.
