Hi there,

Thanks for reading my post.

Beginning of May we have planned a trip to Sweden to do some bushcrafting for a week. The plan was to go to Glaskogen (natural reserve), but bushcrafting is limited there, so I was thinking of canoeing, but yesterday I called a Canoe center near Karlstad and they told me that they had 40 cm of ice. That won’t be away when we arrive, so I want to do some hiking for a week.

The destination is Värmland, but does anybody know a good spot there where one can "disappear" for a week in the woods....

Hoping to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Jeroen

The woods around Arjang are lovely....maybe you could try Preben Mortenson's Kanoe Centre and see if he is able to help you, although I can't find the link to his site right now.

There's a group of us going out there in mid June and I'm teachig the canoeing so I hope the ice has melted by then! lol

Hope that helps a bit,

Bam. :D
