Been reading for a while and thought the New Year would be a good time to try and join in.

Originally from the New Forest (Christchurch/Ringwood - seems to be a few members who live in or know the area) but been living in central London for the last 3 years.

Want to get back outdoors and try some bushcraft, also some knife making and wood carving appeals!

Can anyone recomend a meeting spot within easy drive of north london?

Takes me about 2 hours to head down south so I guess anything around an hour from the bottom of the M1 makes sense.

Well there the Midlands meet next weekend but it's slightly more than an hours drive.

It's a good meet with loads of friendly folks there and you'd be made very welcome if you were to come along to it
