Shetland Isles
Hi all,
I've just joined the forum, i'm 37 and live on the Shetland Isles.

I've had an interest in camping and the outdoors for years, but it's been a long time since i enjoyed a night under the stars.

Anyway, keep up the good work... Karl

You probably could string up a hammock, without a tree or two.

It would involve of course, a couple of stout poles; and many ropes and stay's to counteract the previous rope's.

If that makes any sense, i can see it in my head:idea:if that's any consolation.

Much easier to sleep on a mat on the ground!

Thank's for the welcome, Karl

Hi Karl, guess you'd have problems making a bowdrill set then, then no logs to put on the fire anyway? Will peat light with friction?!
Welcome aboard
Rich
