Hi i'm steve, and i'm new to this site and found it whilst browsing the net.
I have a stong interest within the countryside, nature and the outdoors. In fact, now and again, it's where i go to get a way from a mad commercialised world.
I enjoy long walks through the country, by water and through the trees and appriciate nature and the "perfect" beauty of this planet , it's just a shame that a lot of it's beauty is taken for granted and not given the respect that it deserves. My wife is a keen bird spotter, who has converted me too and we enjoy walking together and admiring nature and the outdoors.
I'm inspired by people like Bill Oddie and Ray Mears who have a passion and respect for nature and the outdoors. I'm not an expert by any means, in fact I know very little about outdoor survival or bushcraft, but hey this looks like the ideal place and site to start.
