Hi! I was researching several new topics lately and realized I wasn't finding what I needed so decided to resort to real people again. lol
We moved to Portugal to help several members in my family avoid the triggers hampering their lives - long time sufferers of Multi Chemical Sensitivity - and have to say, we love it here.
I have five dogs, seven chickens, am reclaiming an ancient terrace garden, do wet and needle felt, carve wood, tan furs and hides, have in the past raised and butchered all our own meat and grow veg and forage wild foods.
But as I am entirely self taught in all of the above, I sometimes need help with new projects, hence joining your lovely forum, because I am still trying to work out how best to sole a home made shoe and now am learning all about madder root.
Oh, and last but not least, my sons and I are restoring an ancient Portuguese farm house from near its near derelict status, while living inside it.
