Hi from Lincoln

Hi all

I'm Mark, a Scout Leader and Technician in the RAF. Originally from Cambridge/Newmarket but now living up in Lincoln.

I have a 14mth old boy and an 11 year old stepson called Jacob - Who loves nothing more than getting outside camping and being in the woods.

I used to be heavily into geocaching but since the baby came along spare time became sparse and I lost interest.

Now he's a little older I'm finding time to get away, and bushcraft is filling it beautifully.

I'm new to it all so looking forward to learning from your experience.

Welcome Mark hopr you have fun here on the forum, its great fun and full of info. What trade were you in the RAF? I was an Armourer for 15 years.

Hi all & thanks for the welcome.

I've picked up some great advice already and even made some purchases - I'm really glad I joined.

Woof and Ally - where abouts are you both? I'm really lucky because I can use our Scout campite in Lincoln so can get hanging in the trees and light a fire without sneaking into a wood somewhere and hiding away.

It'd be really good to meet up with others in the area though and find/use some new places.

Rickyamos - I'm currently still serving in the RAF as an avionics technician.
