Hi from our home in Brittany, France! Retired from life in UK 2 1/2 years ago and living at the end of a lane beside a forest in the middle of Brittany.
We harvest some of our own firewood, use a combination of mains and well water, and use a woodburner for heating. We cook on bottled gas, supplemented by casseroles on the woodburner during cold spells. Polytunnel, fruit net and growing spuds, leeks, onions etc. etc.
We are determined not to grow ‘old’ so keep active with hobbies and interests.
