Hi from a newbie in North East UK

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I live east of Newcastle... stop just short of the sea.
I've been wandering off into the woods to cook or camp out for as long as I can remember, up until recently I've not met anyone else who thinks this is normal !
Recently I've found more time for myself and have taken up wild camping and canoeing again. I found this site by following a thread from Song of The Paddle, I think there are quite a few folks who belong to both sites. I'm looking forward to combining both interests.
I'm looking forward to learning some foraging skills to go with the cooking that I love to do and I hope to get some pointers with the leatherwork that I've just taken up.
