Hello everyone, a little about me:

I seem to be getting more interested in the outdoors and the natural world as I have gotten older (closer to 40 than 30 now...), I've done a fair bit of hill walking (mostly in the lakes and yorkshire dales), and a bit of scrambling and bouldering. After 2 years of thinking about it I finally attended a bushcraft weekend course earlier this year and loved every minute.

I stumbled upon this site whilst searching for recommendations for a decent all round knife after breaking my Frosts Clipper whilst 'moderately abusing it'

I'll be seeking out your opinions on that once I've decided on what I think I need...

Welcome a board, you might be able to repair your knife if its not to bad?

Theres more then one of us thats snapped a tip of a blade

It's snapped a bit closer to the handle - about 10mm away...

I think I need a knife that's similar to a Clipper with a thicker blade.
