I drove over Shap in that snow a couple of weeks ago about ten minutes ahead of the truck that blocked it .

I'm possibly in the far south of Cumbria having moved just over the border from Lancashire nearly 3 years ago. To our post covid bolthole! 15 minutes from kendal. It's a nice part of the world!

I'm in the Barrow area, not got a great reputation but 5 mins walk from home I am on the coast. Just had my 2nd view of the local Kingfisher out on my daily trot around.

Submarine Town! Nothing too wrong with barrow. Centre is a bit dead though. Lots of terraced streets.

Never seen a King fisher around these parts
Usually out with the dogs round the beach north and south end
