A quick intro from me as a new member.
Hi!
I'm from the Manchester area. I grew up in the woods of Berkshire. I've spent a lot of time outdoors.
I'm a dad and a husband. I'm very lucky.
I run an Explorer Scout Unit in Manchester. I'm also a DofE Exped supervisor.
Our Scout program includes all types of bushcraft, wild food, climbing, hiking, camps, expeditions, shooting, archery, paddle-sports....the full list would run very long.
I'm a keen shot, preferably walked up over my spaniel. Also a deer stalker. Generally in Cumbria. All my game goes into the pot. Over the fire where possible.
I like a good blade. I may have too many.
I'm always on the hunt for new ideas for Scouts program.
Its good to connect with likeminded folks.
