Hi there just measured my wildlife hatchet (new style) and its 7.7cm

Also a point to note, the wildlife hatchet looks very similar to the Swedish carving axe. SFA to hunters axe too. You never know of stocks are mixed up when folk buy them and are sent the wrong one.

I have two SFAs. One is brand new, never been used or sharpened = 81 mm. The other has had light use and has been honed a couple of times = 81 mm

New style wildlife hatchet 78 mm. It looks like there is a point missing or flattened which I don't remember doing, but even allowed for that it would be 79mm.

used SFA: 86 mm
