OK ben asked to do a rabbit prep demo with the scouts on Monday evening. Problem is can't seem to source any rabbit!

Can anyone help? I am based in wokingham RG45 PM me if you can..;-)

There's loads about, they haven't stopped breeding.

or you could try a proper butcher, if they don't have any in they will be able to point in the direction of someone who does

Is Vicars in Reading still there? I'd be very surprised if he couldn't find you a rabbit.

Ahhhh i remember being at scouts and doing the rabbit prep. Loved it.

A local guy used to breed rabbits for such things and brought 20 or so along, all alive, showed us how to despatch one and off we went. One of the best lessons ive ever had.

Try and get some live ones!

Cheerrs guys, i had though of butchers lol but they get them already gutted as it taints and lessens shelf life... also with everyone focused on pheasants bunnies are thin on the ground.. plus they have stopped breeding... its winter ;-) only breed for 9 months of the year... much like chickens and eggs! (clue is in easter ....)

Never mind gone with Pheasants instead... will have to do!
