Hello from the Forest of Bowland

Hi I'm Daniel and I live right in the heart of the Forest of Bowland in the North West.

Just getting into Bushcraft after years of wanting to do it. Just starting out with a Frosts Mora Clipper, firesteel, laplander saw and a small rucksack!

Plenty of opportunities to practice bushcraft just past the garden fence.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

Ive got plans to walk from lancaster to clitheroe over the hills near trough of bowland.Im gonna wait till its hot so i dont need to carry much kit.

I've done a bit of walking in the Bowland area - lots of nice routes start at the Calderbank Country Lodge Hotel, all waymarked and the owner (Rowland) is walker friendly too!

Like Matt said - why not nip across to Middlewood this weekend and put some faces to names?
