I'm Nick, been lurking around the forums for a while.

Learnt a great deal from here, but im afraid im an armchair enthusiast.

SWMBO couldnt bear the thought of me enjoying myself out camping. The whole family do enjoy hiking out on the moors and cooking up our grub in the open, so we are halfway there.

'Bushcrafting' is not just about going off to the Australian outback and learning from aboriginals, or even sleeping out.
It's about much more than that.
And I'd say going off hiking and cooking in the outdoors with your family easily fall into the bushcraft agenda.
