Recently joined the forum looking forward to contributing and getting some good tips for when I'm out camping/exploring with my lads and dog..Actually looking to build a natural tree house/den for the kids for summer time..

Ha, only last night I was browsing DaveBromley's 'Any Manchester Lads' thread, and today there's another!

I'm a Chorlton dweller myself, and I know there are a few Alty & Stockport types about

I'm from up near Whitefield/Bury way, good to see some Manchester lads about on here. I go up on nature trail a lot, up near Giants Seat woods (if anyone knows it??)

Any of you lads recommend anywhere good local?

Do any of you go on bushcraft weekends and that? Would definitely be up for meeting up at some point and bringing me little lad with me..
