I am Alex and I spend a lot of time out on my mountain bike on multi day trips and races often in the back end of nowhere with only a little kit (sub 20lbs...I may have a weight weenie problem!)
I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and was 11 when the SAS Survial handbook came out and I devoured it from cover to cover. A love of kit, packing and functionality has seen me well over the years! I found this after a Google search for EDC kit (UK stuff, not a .45cal and a rambo knife that passes for EDC in Arkansass!)
Now stuck behind a desk most of the week I am glad to be get out side and love S24HON (sub 24 hour over nighers) bivvi trips on the bike when I can.
