Hi everyone, Merry Christmas (5-6 days to go!)

Only joined yesterday, found this site while doing a search about Bushcraft. I live in Buxton, I was gutted when I realised I missed Ray Mears talk in Oct, held in Buxton!

I enjoy the outdoors, learning about rural crafts and recently reading and learning about bushcraft.

I am pretty quiet on these forum thingies. Nice to know there are fellow bushcrafters and tool makers (myself, I only make knives/spoons etc. for personal use or gifts) in the area.

Much of my outdoor fun takes place in Sussex, where I have access to some private woodland. It's nice down there but heavily-populated and a bit flat!

Let me know if a meet-up is planned.
