Hi all

I have been lurking in the shadows on and off for a year and thought it was about time I stepped out and said hello !!

I am based in West Cornwall and have spent lots of time over the years wild camping around the country and basically enjoying the great outdoors. I enjoy cycling and Canoeing but am happiest when I have a rucksack and a map with a few days to spare.

I have really enjoyed the information that I have picked from this site and look forward to adding my experiences to the discussions.

Yes Cornwal is a great part of the country for Wild Camping and I am lucky enough to know a few places where the farmers are happy to allow you to have open fires.

Hoping to get out in the kayak this year, on to some remote beeches that can not be accessed from land.

Agree with Kerne - awesome part of the country, I grew up walking the Lizard Peninsula with my father each year (Holidays)
