Is anyone else watching this? I'm loving it. Fantastic photography, not a presenter's earlobe in sight, good comentary. It's on BBC2 and tonight's was 3 of 4.

Makes me want to go for the first time . From what they show I think I need a 3-year visit just to get a glimpse. Was thrilled by the way the school kids were taking to the old crofting ways so necessary to keep the wildlife.

Skye is as far west as I've been in the Hebrides. I must go to the outer islands one day soon. I also want to go to Orkney.

To be honest I find Ewan McGregor's wistful and pretentious narration really bloody irritating
