Heads up Vango Banshee tents;
Maybe of use for lightweight camping; I was considering buying one of the Gelert Solo tents which are going pretty cheap at the moment but then found the following 2009 Vango tents at a good price.

They are a good quality 3 season tent for the minimilist backpacker wishing to maintain a low profile (literally!).

The Vango Banshee 200 is going for just under £60 delivered

They are also selling theVango Banshee 300 for just under £65 delivered which is quite a saving on the RRP.

Hope this is of use to someone. When I checked their stock a few days ago they told me the price was going up soon. No connections to retailer etc.

Not bad for £55 quid. I'm selling a completely unused banshee 200 if anyone would like an even better deal. Would let it go for £45 ;)

They're great tents, fairly roomy for such a lightweight small packing tent. I only go on driving trips these days so just use my 4 man one though :D

Does anyone know what the stripped weight of these is eg any non essentials that are included in the weight like extra pegs etc. the weight could come down quite a bit with the addition of titanium pegs etc.
