Here's my latest, needs a little bit more finishing, but it's almost there.

Stainless, clip point blade, with Hawthorn scales, black fibre liners and mosaic pins.

Nice job what finish did you use as the one made with hawthorn was much lighter in colour and I used danish oil although a spoon I made from hawthorn is that dark after esome use.


Very nice :) Whats hawthorn like to work ?

I have found hawthorn easy to use.

Hawthorn is quite easy to work, although it can be exceptionaly hard to carv, it's like all things, take your time..................

I have just give it a couple of coats of Danish oil so far.
