Haws

Went for a wander this afternoon up the lane at the end of the road and found what are probably the biggest Haws i have ever seen, the photo below gives an indication of size, more like cherries than Haws

Got around 2 kilos of them sitting in the kitchen at the moment, mind you at that size there are not many to the kilo

Try searching for the latin name Crataegus monogyna

In dutch it is called an Meidoorn. I'll be sure to remember this one.

they are monsters , never seen em that big before nice find
