Been seeing a lot of these lately.

Here's a bit of background to give you a clue.
I work on a large farm estate and this was found by the glass entrance door to my office.
This one is just over an inch long, some others are bigger.

Looks like a ball of hair and bones that owls cough up.

It seems dry, perhaps because of frost, but my cats have brought up longwise shaped things like that. On 5th thoughts, I bet it's a piece of bird's nest soup ???

'Tis a pellet.
I thought it was possibly crow or rook until a peacock rocked up to the joint.

I reckon the reflection in the new glass door is what's bringing it in.

Aha! Certainly wasn't thinking peacock! You're right about the glass, I spect, years ago there was one where we lived used to do the same ... then off to nip the heads off my flowers and the raspberries !!!
