That's a great link . I'd always assumed making my own would be too tricky , even though I'm a dab hand with a sewing machine just the thought put me off looking . Got some mats on order and now can't wait to make one .

looks good, what did you make it out of?

Not mine mate, I can't claim credit for that. I think he used 4oz coated ripstop. The new versions are made from Insultex (similar to those foil coated windscreen reflectors) and are used as underquilts too.
