Hammock folding

Any hints on the best way to fold a dd hammock. I just cant fold it back into its bag and i have bought the cover skins for it but it is still bulky??

It may well be that the skins create too much bulk for the original bag. I have a DD and simply stuff it in its bag as you would a sleeping bag with no problems. A new slightly larger stuffsack may be the solution.

I made a stuff sack with draw strings at each end.

I can pull the ties from each end and hang it straight up.

Simples...

Which hammock do you have? I have the Frontline with sleeve and it fits the original bag perfectly. Start in the centre of the hammock and gradually fold it in on it's self. By the time you've finished you should have both ends on top ready to be deployed next time. Not sure if that makes sense, shout if not.

I shove my hammock in a 5lt exped dry bag along with the tapes and karabiners still attached.
