We have been busy tapping birch here,i started by using an adapted barrel tap and then turned some myself on the lathe,they seemed to work better,we managed a good few pints ,here are some pictures:

Nice day out! I tried birch tapping last year but didnt really like the flavour. :(
BTW you frying pan appears to have a dent in it! :D

Nice pictures. I wouldn't have thought we'd be tapping happily for this long. Good for you that you spend time with your loved ones outdoors :)

Looks a nice day out fish, did you use one of the small augers that you bought from me.
Them sausages look good.
